Keeping a short (English) journal, start now!

Since opening this blog early this year, I have been thinking of writing some posts in English. When I was young, especially, being a middle or high school student, I did write many journals in English. Even further, during my time attending high school, there was the English class system, which I belonged to for all three years. That made me read English stuffs a lot, write a lot, and hear and speak a lot. Even in university, I took courses in English. It was a mandatory policy, that all professors should give lectures in English.

After graduating from school, then I have been getting gradually far and far from English. Of course, I am writing codes for programming many applications every day. However, this process is quite different from writing some meaningful documents. I use a few limited words defined in programming languages, that's all. There is no chance to use various and worthy words which let me grow more.

That's why I made my decision to keep a short journal, starting from now. Trying to keep the level of my English skills, and, if possible, learn to make them better. It is pretty probable for me to break grammar or to use inappropriate or wrong words. However, that is another step for me to grow. Ending today's journal, I attach a post about the benefits of keeping a journal.
